The white wine Le Gonnare Vermentino Toscana IGT, vintage 2024 from the winery Fabio Motta has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Vermentino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense light gold colour. Herbal, savoury, expressive nose, dried banana pieces, yellow peach, apricot yoghurt. Viscous in the glass, very rich, opens up on the palate with a full mouthfeel, paired with vivid, balanced acidity, slight saltiness on the finish, with light phenolics, well integrated, wavers back and forth between substance, viscosity and verticality, fine apricot flavour on the finish and very juicy and salty. Really impressive!
