The white wine Kranachberg G STK, vintage 2000 from the winery Familienweingut Sattlerhof has been rated in 2018 by Peter Moser with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
Medium golden yellow, and quite strongly coloured. Nice nuances of quince jelly, subtle caramel, with a hint of toasty aromas, candied grapefruit zest, and yellow tropical fruit in the background. Juicy, subtle toasty flavours, creamy, ripe peach, powerful and persistent, with a herbal savouriness on the finish, and medium length. It is a substantial food wine. (The bottle is perhaps not quite perfect).
