The white wine Weißburgunder Pfarrweingarten G STK Fassreserve, vintage 2007 from the winery Familienweingut Sattlerhof has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Southern Styria in Austria.
This wine was aged and matured for seven years on the fine lees in barrels. The nose is dominated by white apple and flint, whilst the palate has a complex extract sweetness. It's finely structured and wonderfully multi-faceted, with a salty-mineral edge and delicate yellow apple fruit on the very long finish. An iconic Pinot Blanc.
