The red wine Cuvée Anniversario Primitivo di Manduria Riserva DOP, vintage 2010 from the winery Felline has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
A Primitivo of a completely different kind, showing a brightening garnet colour of medium density. On the nose, clearly oxidative hints of almonds and iodine, plus strawberry and sour cherry. On the palate, grippy tannins that are still somewhat drying, still very lively and vivid, an experience but overall quite bold.
