The wine is deep garnet red in colour with subtle brightening on the rim. The nose is powerful with aromas of overripe fruit, rum pot, and light savoury notes of Mediterranean herbs. The palate is powerful, and slightly full-bodied, with medium length (carried by the alcohol), and notes of dark chocolate and dried ripe fruit.
