The red wine 2019 »Schwarzer Rappe« Lemberger Eichenfass, vintage 2020 from the winery Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Aromas of ripe black cherry, elderberry, hints of blackberry and some toasty notes. On the palate, grippy tannins and lively acidity give this well structured Lemberger traction with invigorating red fruits, herbal savouriness, tobacco and leather and good length. This good food companion should age nicely.
