The white wine »Schwarzer Rappe« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Medium yellow in colour, with notes of ripe pear and apricot on the nose, accompanied by fine toasty aromas from the wood ageing, plus some banana peel and caramel. On the palate the wine has a creamy mouthfeel, with vivid, balanced acidity supporting the filigree structure, finely spiced with juicy pear, apple, and nutty notes. Crisp and also elegant.
