Tasting Notes
Brilliant rich ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Very vivid and intense nose, aroma of ripe cherry, some sealing wax, plum, appears warm and round. Very juicy on the palate, builds up in many layers, fine-grained silky tannins, enveloped in fine texture, vivid and straightforward, long finish.
More about the tastingDark ruby with garnet rim. Initially shows fine spicy notes of cloves and sandalwood, then rich blackberry and plum. Full-bodied and firm on the attack and on the palate, opens with present, pithy tannins, firm pressure on the finish.
