The sparkling wine Fongaro Riserva Brut, vintage 2009 from the winery Fongaro Spumanti has been rated in 2017 by Axel Biesler, Ursula Haslauer with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Veneto in Italy.
Its six years of yeast ageing are delicately apparent, with the aroma of brioche, toasted gray bread and apple and banana chips. On the palate, however, crisp, fresh apples and a hint of fruit sweetness make their mark, both of which suit it well.
