Morbio Superiore ist ein altes Weindorf am Fuße des Muggio-Tals. Die Trauben, die hier dank der Morgen- und Abendbrise des Monte Generoso produziert werden, ergeben Weine mit großem Charakter, aber gleichzeitig besonders fein und mit starken fruchtigen Noten. Die 18-monatige Reifung in Barriques unterstreicht seine Besonderheiten und verleiht ihm Komplexität und Weichheit. Es eignet sich zu rotem Fleisch und Wild, das sowohl auf dem Grill als auch in der Pfanne zubereitet wird.

Fresh, dark wild berryish fruit, cassis, blackberries and blueberries, hints of wild spices. Medium-bodied on the palate with restrained, ripe acidity and finely polished tannins, elegant. Beautiful length on wild berry and herbal notes.
