The red wine Rocche dell'Annunziata Barolo DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2013 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby colour with a slight garnet rim. Intense and compact nose, aromas of ripe wild raspberries, some beeswax, very inviting. Dense and vivid on the palate, shows lots of ripe, rich fruit, especially raspberry, opens up with densely woven, firm tannins, lots of flavour, rich mineral depth on the finish.
