The red wine Barolo DOCG Rocche dell'Annunziata, vintage 2020 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Intensely bright ruby colour. Very appealing nose with notes of wild raspberry and plum, plus some rose and a hint of liquorice, some cloves. Convincing on the palate with lots of finely-meshed tannins, very polished, lots of wild raspberry, slightly earthy components in the back, salty and long.
