The red wine Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby. Aromatics of fleshy pomegranates, dried orange zest, a little black olive and spicy notes. On the palate very dense and gripping, driven with slightly rough youthful tannins and great fruit concentration. Shows potential, but still needs time to reach maturity.
