The red wine Barolo DOCG Torriglione, vintage 2017 from the winery Gagliasso has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a delicately brightening rim. Hearty cherry fruit on the nose, light resin and wet stone, with a hint of roasted almonds on the finish. Radiant on the palate with compact, grippy tannins, shows muscle, currently still young, outstanding ageing potential.
