Tasting Notes
Not a good evening for Piemont, the first sample poured is somehow not at its peak. My neighbor, who got the second bottle, helps out: The color a light crimson garnet, delicately ochre undertones, some vanilla, heart cherries, almonds and smoky notes in the background, delicate fruit on the palate, strawberries, good tannin structure, somewhat hard acidity, a strong contrast to the Tuscan fiber flatterers. Nevertheless, a subtle, feminine wine with a fine finish.
