Clear, rich ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. Fragrant, lots of fresh fruit with ripe blackberries, very clear and precise, underpinned by a little clove and cinnamon, inviting. Full-bodied on the palate, compact, persistent, opens up with many layers of fine-grained tannin, savoury, full-bodied drive on the finish.
