The red wine Croceferro Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Generazione Alessandro has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese from the region Sicily in Italy.
Transparent, bright ruby red. Ripe red fruit on the nose, raspberry, small wild berries, the finest nougat envelops the fruit, with rose hips and a delicate minty finish. Fresh on the palate, finely woven tannins, appears light-footed, beautiful tension with a lot of finesse, remains powerful at the end with a fine minerality.
