The red wine »Es« Primitivo di Manduria DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery Gianfranco Fino Viticoltore has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser und Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Kratosija from the region Primitivo di Manduria in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby purple, black core. Multi-layered and lush nose, rich of ripe blueberries, figs, cassis, plus notes of liquorice and dark chocolate, very clear. On the palate a lot of compact fruit, amazingly fresh, even juicy, finely meshed tannin, seems polished, long finish.
