The red wine Es Primitivo Salento IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Gianfranco Fino Viticoltore has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby red. Elegant, concentrated nose, of ripe cranberry and currant, a hint of strawberry jam, rich cherry, light touches of spice, very inviting. Very vivid on the palate, has a lot of drive, concentrated and compact, builds slowly with many layers, nice eucalyptus notes, tightly woven, very polished tannin, enormous finish.
