Rich, deep dark ruby with purple glints. Compact and dense nose, rich notes of wild blueberries, fresh figs and pickled plums. Spreads richly on the palate, fills the mouth, lots of ripe fruit, opens with fine-meshed tannin, a wine with elemental force, yet fresh and drinkable, long finish.
