The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Giuseppe Cortese has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant ruby colour with a clear garnet-red tinge. Fine notes of cherry compote, with fresh rhubarb and lily aromas. Polished initially, yet with plenty of grip, clear fruit notes on a tightly woven tannin structure, with a lingering finish.
