The red wine Morassina Barbera d'Alba DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Giuseppe Cortese has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Brilliant ruby with a delicate purple shimmer. Very clear and memorable nose of blackberry and ripe cherry, with some savoury chestnut honey. Builds well on the palate with lots of juicy fruit. Round on the attack and on the finish – fills the palate with richness, tension and good drive.
