Rich, round and mellow, this vintage was all about patience. It was one of the wettest in years with rain in November and January, and a cool February. Disease pressure was high so strict control was needed, but hang time was long. Dark, brooding fruit with a slight graphite edge. Powerful fruit concentration and firm grippy tannins.
