The white wine Coste a Preola Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Gorghi Tondi has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Sicily in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red with a subtle bright rim. Lovely pronounced nose of strawberry confit, ripe raspberry and wild berry. Fresh on the palate with a slight saltiness, it is delicate and elegant, unfolding with a velvety texture and with a finely woven tannin structure. It has a nice crispiness on the finish.
