The red wine Sorelle Sala Sicilia DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Tenuta Gorghi Tondi has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Sicily in Italy.
Deep ruby red with a dark core. Dark, ripe fruit on the nose. Dried plum, light rum-steeped fruit aromas, dark chocolate, leather, some vanilla. Full-bodied, structured and velvety on the palate. Dark fruit harmonises well with light wood notes. Tannins are vivid but fine and give the whole a stable backbone.
