The red wine L’Alberello Bolgheri Rosso Superiore DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Grattamacco has been rated in 2015 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Bolgheri in Italy.
Clear, rich ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Displays notes of plum and blackcurrant on the nose, underpinned by liquorice. Taut and rich on the palate, opens with lots of dense fruit, blackberry and currant again, dense, well-integrated tannins as it progresses, clear and juicy finish.
