The red wine L'Alberello Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Grattamacco has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby with a slight garnet rim. Intense and clearly defined nose, full of elderberries and blueberries, lots of tobacco, some cardamom, good intensity. Round and full in the mouth, opening with fine-meshed tannins, juicy fruit, a little austere on the finish.
