The red wine L'Alberello Bolgheri Superiore DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Grattamacco has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Glistening, rich ruby hues with a light garnet shimmer. Very distinct and precise aroma of ripe wild raspberries followed by red and blackcurrant nuances, finely spicy. On the palate grippy, dense tannins, displaying a fine interplay of the components and very juicy. A saline and persistent long lasting finish.
