Strong ruby garnet, purple reflections, brighter rim. Intense fine oak, black berryish fruit, hints of candied orange zest and figs; a multi-faceted bouquet. Complex, textured, ripe cherries, supporting tannins, mineral with a long finish. Good ageing potential.
