Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, opaque core, discreet bright ochre rim. Tobacco backed black wild berry fruit, hints of herbs, delicate liquorice, some cassis, an inviting bouquet. Complex, chocolaty, firm supporting tannins, juicy, currant on the finish, and with a salty mineral aftertaste. It is persistent and has certain ageing potential.
