Birgit and Christian Reumann and their son Mario cultivate 25 hectares of vineyards in Deutschkreutz in the Blaufränkisch region of central Burgenland. The flagship of the winery is Blaufränkisch, but Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent also ripen excellently on the deep soils of central Burgenland. New ideas and variety are constantly being added to the range. Mario, with his youthful vigour, has developed a new wine line called Urkraft, naturally with his own design! Visitors to the winery are keen to find out more about the theory and practice of winemaking, which is why wine tastings and guided tours of the cellar and vineyards are available by appointment.
