Rich, dark ruby purple; opens on the nose with fine aromas of licorice and chocolate, behind it lots of blackberry, inviting; on the palate initially lots of dense fruit, builds up well, unfortunately the alcohol comes through strongly in the back, becomes rough in the finish.
