Dark ruby with purple reflections, brightening at the rim. An inviting bouquet with ripe cherry fruit and a little bit of plum, underlaid with wood spice, candied orange zest, and a nougat touch. It has good complexity and is juicy and tightly meshed, with well integrated tannins, delicate blackberry notes, and cardamom on the finish. Long lasting and a complex food wine with certain ageing potential.
