Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Fine plum notes, a hint of orange peel, subtle nougat, black forest berry confit, tobacco touch, fresh bouquet. Juicy, good complexity, tightly woven, supporting tannins, blackcurrant notes on the finish, herbal savouriness in the aftertaste, a versatile food companion with certain ageing potential.
