Tasting Notes
New wood and red berries on the nose, raspberry with a floral overtone. Initially smooth palate, then mealy tannin takes over rather powerfully, heavy alcohol and restrained acidity underline the plumpness of the fruit although the wine also has unmistakable juicy-mineral traits. Spicy fruit on the finish. Still very young, but with excellent prospects.
More about the tastingSmoky new wood, mineral notes still remain in the background. Silky on the palate, finely chiseled, yet also very supple and noticeably wood-supported, especially in the soft, creamy parts, yet one senses a mineral-rough vein behind this plush wine. In its fully matured state, it will be precisely this minerality that carries the wine. Leave to age for ten years!
More about the tastingStill introverted on the nose, but with hints of intense minerality. Silky on the palate, mild acidity, the restrained amount of tannins leaves plenty of room for juiciness, but there is more extract on the back than you might think. Nothing flashy about it.
