The white wine Fendant L'Enfer du Calcaire, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Histoire d’Enfer SA has been rated in 2021 by Dominik Vombach und Benjamin Herzog with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chasselas from the region Sierre in Switzerland.
Initially it is somewhat reserved on the nose. However, a little oxygen reveals an extremely complex bouquet with notes of caramel, apple, yellow stone fruit, citrus and lime blossom. It is full-bodied on the palate with fresh and juicy acidity, flavours of yellow stone fruit, apple, citrus, and a beautiful texture. It has good length and some minerality on the finish.
