The red wine Boccalupo Suvereto DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Il Falcone has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Shimmering ruby red with a garnet touch. Delicate aroma of ripe cherries, currants, dried rose petals, subtle hints of bay leaf, some lime. Open-hearted on the palate, very juicy, with a compact core, clearly noticeable use of wood, goes into the finish with traction, finishes with a delicate after-dryness.
