The red wine Vallin dei Ghiri Costa Toscana IGT, vintage 2022 from the winery Il Falcone has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Matt, shiny ruby red with purple-coloured hues. Opens with a distinctly spicy nose of blackberries and redcurrants, also leather, then red pepper and pepper again, multi-layered. The palate is characterised by sweet fruit on tightly woven tannins, harmonious through to the long finish.
