The red wine Collezione Privata Syrah IGT, vintage 2006 from the winery Isole e Olena has been rated in 2011 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby violet. Impressive nose, rich spices and lots of dark fruit, elderberry, fine wild notes in the background, but after a day of opening a very strong hint of horse sweat. Shows a lot of sweet fruit on the palate, fine melting, unfolds with fine-grained tannins, juicy and very long finish.
