The red wine »Alte Reben« Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
Red cherry scents in the complex aroma followed by redcurrants and herbal notes with hints of rosemary and clove. On the palate slender construction with good bundling and concentration that seems almost weightless, sour cherry, finely woven tannins and a sensitive vein of acidity. Precise and elaborate.
