The red wine Rech Herrenberg Spätburgunder GG, vintage 2021 from the winery Jean Stodden – Das Rotweingut has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Ahr in Germany.
Fragrant, spicy slate notes on the nose, the fruit is intense and complex: small red berries, sweet cherry, wild strawberry, cassis and fig compote. In the mouth one finds pure delicacy: silky, fresh tannins, an elegant thread of acidity, good volume in the fruit and high elegance.
