On the nose, tarry, dark berry fruit, with petrol-like aromas, fruit notes and a yeasty savouriness. The palate is powerful with a wall of sandy tannins, juicy acidity, and full-bodied fruit, with supporting yeasty flavours (probably unfiltered and in solution due to contact with the lees), very mineral in tone with vibrant tactility and great length.
