The red wine »Caliber«, vintage 2020 from the winery Juan Gil has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Murcia in Spain.
Black red colour with purple reflections. On the nose nuances of dark chocolate, mint, black pepper and very ripe plum. The palate shows highly concentrated, sandy to grainy tannins in high quantity, as well as firm acid backbone, juicy fruit, integrated alcohol. Quite a complete red wine that has great ageing potential.
