Deep dark, rich ruby with violet shimmer. Dense and intense on the nose, full of elderberries and ink, subtle smoky notes in the background, well integrated. Shows plenty of juicy fruit on the palate, spreads out well, lots of fine-meshed tannins, unfolds with elegance, persistent on the finish.
