Rich, impenetrable ruby purple. Intense nose with notes of elderberry and blueberry, a savoury background with some dark chocolate. Hearty and grippy on the palate, shows plenty of pithy tannin with a supple core, lots of fresh, juicy fruit, elderberry and black cherry. Very long.
