Dark, shiny purple with a slightly brightening rim. Rich fruit on the nose with ripe blackberries, plums and dark cherries, spice paired with leather, cedar and tobacco leaf, very complex. On the palate, first red pepper, then black pepper and then dark berries, with plenty of tension and gripping tannins that will benefit from further ageing.
