Bright, intense ruby with slightly brightening edges. Opens with a carpet of fine spices, changing from aniseed to clove, then rich blackberries and cranberries, multi-layered. Round and compact on the palate, shows lots of plump fruit, sweet raspberries and blackberries, then opens up with clearly defined, velvety tannins, very long finish, juicy.
