The red wine Curlan Pinot Noir Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Kellerei Girlan has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, medium-density ruby in colour with a slightly garnet sheen. Opens with subtle smoky notes on the nose, then lots of blackberry and dark cherry as well as black truffle in the background. Round and supple in attack and finish, with lots of silky tannins that build towards a very juicy, long finish with plenty of firm drive.
