The white wine Südtirol Chardonnay DOC, vintage 2000 from the winery Cantina Terlano has been rated in 2013 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, dense yellow-green in colour, surprisingly youthful looking. Shows fine ripe notes of banana, peach and some mango on the nose, as well as hints of lemon balm. It also presents itself impressively fresh on the palate, unfolding with ripe, but by no means overripe fruit, interwoven into the structure. Finishes long. It still has many years ahead of it.
