The sekt 1919 Riserva Extrabrut Südtirol DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Kettmeir has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, rich straw yellow, very fine perlage. Clear and memorable nose, opens with notes of mirabelle plums, ripe apple and brioche, with a hint of café au lait in the background. Clear and precise on the nose and on the palate, with plenty of fresh apple, fine-grained perlage, round and balanced.
